Removing Snow From Roofs

Removing snow from roofs can be an easier task when knowing the right procedures, and having the right tools to to the job.

I know it's something we all dread, and can really be a physicaly draining experience. We're all lucky we do not have to do this 12 months out of the year. The reason why alot of us get a sore back is because of that very reason.

Following the right steps while removing snow from roofs can save you that sore back in the morning.

Are you wondering what the right size roof rake is for you?

It depends on alot of different factors.Your height, your strenght, and most obviously the height of your roof.

A ladder also plays in a factor because every roof is different, and every individual is different in height & stature. Some houses you dont need a ladder when it comes to removing snow from the roof.

I recommend a 3 piece connectable roof rake.It can be adjusted to the size that works more perfectly for the job.In other words you dont need a 36 foot snow rake to remove snow from a single stall garage roof, that's only 16 feet in height.

It would be very difficult performing that task with the rake so long in lenght.

With an adjustable roof rake a person has to remove an extention pole,or add a pole all depending on the height of the structure you're removing snow from.

So keep in mind that an adjustable roof rake , and small step ladder are pretty much a must for removing snow from roofs.
