Drifted Snow On The Roof

Drifted snow on the roof can be a real back breaker to remove.

It's heavy, compacted, and when using a snow rake to remove it,makes it feel like you're using a straw.

After a big snowstorm things like this happen. There is nothing you can do to prevent it,unless you can control which way the wind blows.

My advice to you is to just chip away at it,removing small bites at a time.

Most people try to rush things, and try to remove as big as bites from it as possible. That's not good for you,or for the roof rake for that matter.

Taking your time, and removing it properly will be so much easier.

When all said and done, that snow drift will be no more than a storm in a tea cup.

Drifted snow on roofs is part of winter.Just dont let drifted snow overwhelm you.The hardest part is dwelling on it it.Just take action and think about something else when removing packed snow. You'll be glad you did.
